I’ve been involved with Idaho’s community cats for nearly 2 decades. There is so much to learn about felines that it can be overwhelming. In these classes, you’ll to learn proper care of your own cat and/or extend your knowledge further and help others too!

Join our small group setting as we learn more about cats and kittens! Being equipped with knowledge will help you prepare for eventual issues and illnesses, possibly saving your cat’s life.

During the 1.5-2 hour information-packed class, I will present material and address any questions you may have about cats. When you register, please list specific interests in the comment section and, if possible, I will include it in the class. Ages 13 and up are welcome to attend classes. Ages 8-12 should sign up for the Cats and Kids class.

The goal of this class is to provide new cat owners with pertinent information for a successful start with their new furry family member and to avoid common pitfalls. I know you have questions!

The purpose of the intermediate class is to fill in your feline knowledge gaps to ensure that your cat will remain happy and healthy throughout its life. We’ll explore topics in greater depth and include your topics of interest. You may list preferences in the form comment section.

This class is designed for those who wish to help cats in the community. You will learn about trap-neuter-return, fostering, taming, diseases, common barriers, organizations in the Treasure Valley, and ways you can make a difference.

Is your child a budding young cat lover? Are they begging you for a kitten? This is a fun class where we’ll talk about the responsiblities involved with owning a cat, how to tell a young kitten’s age, proper care and handling, cat personalities, play, safety, how to help shelter cats, and more.

Classes are held in my grooming salon in Meridian near Eagle/Ustick (directions provided after you register). Class fees are $25 and must be paid in advance to reserve a spot. If you have a change of plans, please notify me 24 hours in advance and I’ll be happy to reschedule you for another date. No shows will not be rescheduled.
